From the Dead By daylight Patch notes By Daylight: Stranger Things chapter, the Demogorgon uses many of the same abilities from the Netflix original series. The Demogorgon can place Portals on the ground anywhere in the Trial and enter them to traverse The Upside Down. They can use these Portals to quickly move around the map, monitor Generators, and find Survivors. When emerging from a Portal, the Demogorgon is Undetectable for three seconds. While Survivors can see and seal Activated Portals, the Demogorgon can see Survivors nearby while in The Upside Down and easily prevent this. The Demogorgon's unique Perks , Surge, Mindbreaker, and Cruel Limits allow it to slow progress on Generator repairs and Exhaust Survivors, making it more difficult for them to get a

The Trickster is one of the newer Killers in Dead By Daylight . His signature ability allows him to throw up to 60 blades at Survivors from long distances. Unlike The Huntress, The Trickster needs to hit Survivors six times before injuring them, and another six times to down them. Survivors can recuperate if The Trickster's blades continue to miss them for a short time after they have been hit. During his special attack, The Main Event, The Trickster can throw unlimited blades for the duration of the attack. Similar to The Huntress, players will want to work on their aim and will need to reload blades at Lockers. The Trickster's personal Perks , Starstruck, Hex: Crowd Control, and No Way Out reveal Survivor locations and allow him to control the environment, making it more difficult for Survivors to get away in a Chase or escape the Tr

A cult classic from the '80s, Killer Klowns was a movie that lived up to its name. It revolved around a group of alien clown creatures that land on Earth and begin killing or capturing humans with carnival-themed contraptions such as acidic cream pies, killer popcorn creatures, or a gun that captures targets in cotton candy cocoons. And now, with a game based on this IP, gamers are in for a multiplayer horror comedy

Even without all the next-gen bells and whistles that some may expect from a PS5 game, Dead by Daylight is still a solid choice for horror fans, especially those who are looking for a horror-themed multiplayer g

While The Nemesis’ footsteps are rather loud in comparison to other Killers, becoming Undetectable can nonetheless scare some Survivors into mistakes. With the Serotonin Injector, destroying a zombie will grant Undetectable for 15 seconds .

Updated February 9, 2024, by Siddarth Narasimman: The Nemesis has received a couple of changes heading into 2025, but this has not elevated his placement in the current killer meta as he remains an average killer in most matches. Moreover, none of the recent perks have found their way into his best builds. However, a certain add-on has seen a major shift in power due to the balance changes the Nemesis received late in 2024.

The Plague can vomit a vile projectile on unsuspecting Survivors and objects to spread her infection. Hitting a Survivor immediately causes an infection, and infecting an object makes the object infectious to any Survivor who interacts with it for 35 seconds. Each time The Plague hits a Survivor with Vile Purge, their Sickness Meter and infectiousness to others increases. The Plague can consume the sickness from Pools of Devotion found around the Trial, where Survivors must go to cleanse themselves of the infection. This grants her the Corrupt Purge special ability for 60 seconds, which will take away one health state when it hits a Survivor.
